Progress report 2


I have got quite a bit to talk about sooooo, let's go!


Semi-solids 

Semi-solids have been added and oh boi I find them to be a great addition to the game! This will open up a lot of possibilities with the game's level design. So with this great new thing, I replaced one of the useless items with the semi-solids in the level editor.


A now-removed mechanic (The Springles)

The Springles were winged balls with springs as legs and some small dot eyes. If Blemie touched the top of one of these bad bois, he would be teleported vertically up (as if he bounced up faster then the speed of light). There were also meant to be variations of them (examples are: moving Springles, Teleporting Springles, and 2 others). So after this planning, I started prototyping not too long after (and that's where it all went down hill). I had no idea how I could go about coding the Springles so I removed them from the game. R.I.P


Bug fix

There was a bug in the 2-player mode where King Dolphin, a removed boss, appeared in the tuctorial level. This was easy to fix (I literally just had to delete king dolphin from the scene because I still have him in all the scenes for some reason).


FINAL THING:

THE GHOST DOGS ARE BACK! In there new form, they will move in a circle motion.  So yeah!
